Week 10: My Evaluation

Hello World,

I’m evaluating my blog!!!!

How many posts did you write?  20 posts on my blog.

How many were school based, your own interests or set by the challenge?  They were all assigned my Writing Through Tech teacher.

How many comments did you receive from classmates, teachers or overseas students?  6 comments on my blog posts.

Which post received the most comments? Why do you think that happened?  Extra Credit: This is Me. I think I got comments on that because it showed who I am and what I love to do. Maybe others had the same interests.

Which post did you enjoy writing the most and why?  Week 8: Activity 2: Love is Hard, But it’s Worth it in the End, because that story means so much to me and I don’t think that I would be the same person without that going on in my life.

Did you change blog themes at all and why?  Yes, because I found some that are more organized than others.

How many widgets do you have? Do you think this is too many or not enough?  I have one, because I couldn’t get the widgets to come onto my blog. I wish I could have more, but it’s not working for my blog.

How many overseas students do you have on your blogroll?  I have 6 overseas students on my blogroll.

Week 10: Time to Evaluate

Hello World,

I got evaluate about the things on my blog. I was told that the grey color and and posts were interesting. Also, my drawings and photos showing my place and creativity are attention getting. Nothing is distracting on my blog, but I should add some background colors or a picture to get people interested in my blog more and really want to read it. So I’ll try to improve my blog so that it is more interesting to others.

Week 9: Game

Hello World,

I played the week 9 game and I found a lot of cool ideas. So many people do so many different things all around the world. It’s really cool to see what others do all around the world and how we do some of those same things. I’m really glad that I got to see what people do and what pictures they take because it’s so cool to see what others do. This one girl, Olivia, bakes cookies with her family and I do that also. Zoe loves the food at Thanksgiving. I also love the food. Emily loves hotels and so do I. It’s cool to see what I have in common with others from other places. So I hope others had fun with this game just like I did!!! Here’s the blogs that I commented on.

Week 8: Activity 3: Footprint

Hello World,

I don’t have a lot sites that I’m a part of on the internet. I have an email and facebook. I go on those a lot. It keeps me updated with other people. I also looked up my name on google. I was in this site for track with my scores from meets. I was also on there a lot for high honor roll. I looked at the pictures and saw pictures of my softball team last year. I don’t like that picture very much. I’m glad that there’s not a lot of my information on the internet because if people look me up, then they won’t find much. That will be good in return. So don’t put all your information online because it’ll just end in punishment.

Week 8: Activity 2: Love is Hard, But it’s Worth it in the End

Hello World,

I have learned a lot of lessons outside of school. The one that will always impact my life is that love is hard, but it’s worth it in the end. I have my aunt who went through hard times with her divorce. He was mean to her and tried taking things away from her, like their kids. I wouldn’t be able to see them at all. That would be so sad because they are like my sisters, not my cousins. But anyway. She has been dating this guy who is so funny, kind, and caring. He fits in great with our family, and it’s like he’s already part of our family. But my cousins, her daughters, didn’t like him at all. They were rude to him and didn’t give him a chance. But now, they have opened up to him and are happy for their mom. He recently just gave my aunt a ring to let her know that he’s committed to her and her family. I can’t wait to see her ring for real and not just in a picture. This lesson isn’t just given to me, but it’s been a long story that I just figured out. This shows that love is hard, but it’s really worth it in the end!!! <3

Week 8: Activity 1: All Students Should have a Blog

Hello World,

I think that every student should have a blog. I think that it helps us learn about other places in the world without studying them, or going there. I have learned a lot other people, not just from the US, but from other countries. Every place is different and has so many different cultures. I think that that’s what this challenge is all about. Learning from others and trying new things. I’m so glad that I got to do this because it’s so cool to see what others do and what they find fun or creative. Everyone is different in their own way and that’s how we connect in this world. We learn new things and try them. Then they become traditions. That’s how ideas spread all around the world. That’s why I think that everyone should have a blog.

Week 7: Activity 4: Creativity

Hello World,

Everyone has creativity in them. We all have our own way of creativity. I have many ways of showing my creativity. Some are photography, dancing, and singing. You may say that art is the only thing that is creativity because your drawing or painting. Well, creativity isn’t just art, it’s your passion and what you really love. Those are the things that I really love and couldn’t live without. I just had my dance recital and I got to show my creativity with that. Dancing is how I show that I have a passion for dance. I love to dance and I might not be in 12 dance classes but I love what I do and I wouldn’t change that. A dance recital is all my creativity in one. I’m dancing onstage while the music is playing, and people are taking my picture. All the things that I love. I hope that you find your passion just like I have found mine. I love hearing your stories, so comment on this post and tell me how you show your creativity. This is my creativity!!!!!

Week 6: The Technology Change

Hello World,

Technology for us is in our lives everyday.  It has changed us in so many ways. How we work and how we get around. Technology is all around us. Just think, you’re using technology now by going on your computer to read the post. There’s a lot of people who use computers for their job. They have to type papers, look for news and information. Now people can take classes online which can change their whole life. Back in the day, as you could say, they didn’t have technology like we have now. They didn’t have TV, Ipod’s, computers, and Ipads. So you should be thankful for the things we have and what we will be getting. Technology is always changing and technology will always be getting better and better. We are lucky to have technology, but it’s not impossible to live without it.

Week 5 – Activity 7: Sports

Hello World,

I live in North America. We have a lot of traditions or events that we celebrate. One event that we have every year is the Super Bowl. The two best teams play against each other. People have parties and invite friends and family and have a lot of snacks.

One of the most famous kinds of food in America is pizza. There’s so many kinds and different flavors. I like to put ranch on mine. It’s not the same without it. People have pizza for like parties because it’s simple and good.

We have many religions in America. I’m Cathlic and I go to church almost every Sunday morning. It’s a really beautiful church and that’s a place I feel close to God.

We also have the Taste of Madison in Wisconsin. That is all around our capital and there’s many things to do. There’s bands, food, and activities. It’s a great time.

Those are some things we have in America.

Love,
